No useful suggestions on banner image but the banner does seem rather deep to me. It takes up a lot of space on the page and I don't think it's a very good idea for it to take up that much space.
On another matter for those of you that like images of places we now have a growing selection of photos under the galleries section of the new website. Many of these are from gatherings we have had in Wales (taken by Redraven) but there are other images there too. If anyone has photos you would like to offer for the site please let us know.

Potia: the banner size is fixed as far as i can see. it was a toss up between a bigger banner and better overall layout or a smaller one and a not as good navigation bar etc.
I can have a look again and see if there are other more suitable templates.

I'm wondering if it might be useful to have a smention on the site for how people here go about approaching the Gods in the first place and forming relationships with them? I often use what I guess is a sort of medative state/process and sometimes divination but I wonder if we are all very different in our approach or if there are some common threads in how we begin our relationships?

we had our first contact email received today via the site: Name Kirk Thomas Email druidkirk@embarqmail.com Comment What a fascinating idea! I see that one of your writers is Deniol Jones, whom I know and respect. I completely sympathize with where you are going and want to wish you all great luck in this enterprise. May the Gods bless you all, may the Ancestors give you wisdom, and may the Land Spirits ally with you and support you in your work. Rev. Kirk Thomas Archdruid, Ar nDriaocht Fein (ADF)

I wanted to let you all know that I was very inspired by your website design, and highly impressed by the format of Weebly, so I decided to create my own weebly site for my Senobessus group. Hopefully I'll someday be able to purchase a domain senobessus.weebly.com/Any suggestions for me?

Hi guys, just to let you know I've had a letter from the hosting company, they want money for the site.
I've gone to have a look and seen it's not actually up atm anyways, I've spoken to the hosting company and it's locked pending payment. Is anyone using it, does anyone want to contribute pennies or should I just let it lapse now?
Cheers
LR

Hiya LR Personally i dont go there much anymore, i dont think it has been used in a while so perhaps it is time to let it drop off. I dont know if the database thing has been backed up so the content is safe but as it is/was i think it has served its purpose.

Hi LR,
The website hasn't been used for a long time. The brython members only forum was being used but that went offline in March. From my perspective Brython seems to be in hibernation with several members being pulled in various different directions.

Is there a need for it now? I think the most important aspect could be the material on there, does it exist elsewhere?

I think adam has back ups of the database which would have the most interesting stuff - not much has happened on there since it went down the last time. I will ping Adam on Facebook and see what he has.

Hi there,
I've still got tons of space on the hosting that this site sits on. If we want the Brython site to stay up, forward the content to me and I can point the domain name at it.
I've also still got the brython.co.uk domain name - only costs me about £3 per year, so it's worth keeping :-)

We've still got the Weebly site - www.dunbrython.org - up an running with a lot of valuable stuff on there. I think we should concentrate on keeping that as the public face of Brython. Perhaps we could also point the 'brython.co.uk' address there too?

Brilliant!
Not much point in paying these days IMHO, some perfectly good stuff out there.
Mucho relieved
