Since the last gathering in May 2011 Brython seems to have fragmented and faded.
Our lives have pulled us in different directions and most of us are not really in communication with each other.
This saddens me. Brython has been very special to me. Those of us that met in Wales shared some wonderful experiences. And Brython brought Neil and I together, for that I will be forever grateful.
Can we draw our threads of life together again or has the time of Brython past?

Can't remember whn I last logged in here - and then saw your message posted yesterday. It's sad that it came to an end - I feel a little guilty at not having worked through the issues better and having left when I did. I pop in to your blog every now and then - it's a strange thing when people you once shared ideas with almost daily all but vanish! It would be interesting to see how folk's ideas had deveoped over the last couple of years. If most of the core of CF wanted to get something going again I'd be keen to join in.

Funnily enough, i came here yesterday and saw this after having had an email to say he domain name for the Brython website has renewed for another 2 years. i had a browse over there, a browse of my blog which i haven't done in yonks. Both the Brython website gets a lot of visit and a lot moves from there to our blogs it seems. I have had a couple of emails via the website recently after some general info or comments... so in a way what we did, hat we discussed an what we put there is doing its job I keep meaning to do a blog post about the past couple of years, it would be a shame if everything fizzled out completely here. the legacy of what we did is still out there are people ARE interacting with it - so we did well It would be good to hook up again in the future. As for here, I dont know what i would discusss tbh, we covered a LOT of ground and i suppose there comes a point where you have exhausted most areas for discussion.

I still drop in here to see if anything is going on, and would be happy to pick up the threads of any discussions
Good news that the website is still being maintained. Thanks for that Lee. As you say, it fulfils part of the function of what we were about. I've personally referred others to it on a couple of other forums and it's good to have a centre for the body of work we produced.

I've been very busy engaging with this new land, primarily through my job and I have seen a great deal of it already (I've done about 30,000 miles up here in 12 months). There's only Caithness I haven't ventured to as yet. I still possess a strong Brythonic spiritual identity and living up here has very much enhanced it.

I know I'm not a part of Brython formally, but I do really enjoy the discussion that takes place on here and would hate to see it end. As I've posted before, I'm new to the world of Brythonic polytheism and CF has been a vital resource for me thus far.
I do follow everyone's blogs as well, which also paint a lovely picture of what it is to follow the Brythonic tradition. Lee--I'm one of those who keeps trolling about on your blog, I think I've read just about every post...I enjoy the somewhat 'witchy' perspective you take in some of your older posts.
Heron--Your blogs are just as important to me as CF is....such a wealth of Brythonic lore that would otherwise be difficult for a newbie like me to get his hands on.
Potia--Your blog is an expression of how your Brythonic spirituality informs your everyday life, it's great!
I wish you all the best.

Oh wow!! I can't tell you how good it is to see all your posts and so soon after my post too. Corey thank you for those kind words about my blog. I often feel like posting more but never get round to it Francis, I often think about you and yours and wonder how you are getting on so it was a real joy to see your words here. Lee, excellent news about the website domain being renewed. We did some good work with that We did talk about a lot of things but I expect the last couple of years have changed us too, some of us more than others, so there may be changes to some matters of interest and thoughts on things too. I think it's time to reconnect

Perhaps the break was temporarily necessary! Especially as we all seem to be looking in again at the same time. I like it when things happen this way as it's not forced or done under pressure.

Hi Heron, Lee, Potia I dont know about the forum as such, but it would be great to meet up somewhere again this summer. What do you think? I think hell yes!! Neil and I have been wondering about the possibilities of organising a meeting up one weekend in the Scottish boarders area. We found a lovely place there with simple but beautiful camp site next to an inn called Tibbie Sheils (http://tibbieshiels.com/camping/). It's beside a lovely loch and has a nearby waterfall called the Grey Mare's Tail. No close train station but we could pick up Lee at Glasgow Central Station or Carlisle even. I think everyone else drives and the run up from north Wales is straight forward. Anyone interested?

Yes I'd be interested. I was in that area a couple of years ago to visit the Thomas the Rhymer memorial and do the Eildon Hills walk. I sat under the Eildon Tree but didn't get carried off by the Queen of Faerie. Though you never know ...

OK, thinking about the logistics here, I think it would be useful to suggest a weekend early so as to have the best chance of agreeing this. Therefore, I would like to make an initial suggestion of the weekend of the 15th and 16th of June.
