I recently saw this on the news about a 'licking dog' connected to Nodens' temple at Lydney being found. Unfortunately the other artefacts including a 'small vessel' and 'fittings to a large bronze statue' had been broken. It seems likely these were also connected with Nodens. What a shame, particularly about the statue, which may have been of him. This shows some of the Romano-British people put a lot of money into his veneration at one point.
