I currently have about 20 harp sites on my Favourites list, I sit and drool often!
Not that I have a hope in hell of buying or renting one in the forseeable future, not until I sell my house and trade down, anyway!(or until some unknown relative leaves me a pile in his or her will! LOL)
As for reading music, it's a case of cranking up brain cells unused for mega-years!

*g* They are not that expensive these days. One of the small Border Harps will only set you back about £200, and I only paid £350 for the little harp that I had with me last Lughnasadh.
Having said that, it is very easy to spend a fortune - as you really do get what you pay for.
Just don't buy one of those cheap harps off Ebay - the ones that are sold as 'Rosewood harps'. I was lucky with mine, which was playable, but many of them aren't. A false economy.
