Have you noticed the adverts we're getting here. As I write this there's one for Harry Potter featuring Slytherin House, a little while ago there was one that seemed to be peddling images of women athletes but slightly more disturbingly there was one fro rainbow christians. Now I've noticed on my myspace page there's been a lot of adverts by christians "warning of the dangers of witchcraft and paganism". which bothers me a little bit.
Do we really want idiots defaming us on our own websites?

And these adverts effect us how? Methinks we are in danger of overreacting a bit aren't we?
The adverts allow BB to maintain this board and as long as they do not promote child pornography I reaklly don't give a monkey's what they say.

Aye - we have no control over the adverts on the boards. However, you can have fun trying to manipulate them, as the ad content is in response to the forum content.
I remember when discussing the Round Table, we suddenly started getting lots of furniture manufacturers on there ;D

And I, too, love the sport of mountain biking.
Who doesn't?
(still not in the adverts...)
Where is the best place to buy mountain bikes in your locality?

If I was selling my mountain bike, I would certainly be trying to sell said mountain bike for a profit. Having fun selling the mountain bike for profit seems a good idea.
I do believe ther is a mountain bike shop in my locality, but the seller remains a mountain bike shop whose name is unfamiliar to me.

I like mounting my bike, frequently, on a mountain if possible, but up the stairs will do... am I not getting the point here. I think you have to use something people would actually like to buy not an activity for masochists.
Try selling a pocket Jesus...?

There was an article on the BBC News website earlier this week about a complaint about inappropriate advertisements popping up on a website - the site was where people posted eulogies for loved ones, on one particular page an ad for motorbikes appeared on a page that was for a man who had died in a motorbike accident!

I've just read an advert on this board for "gay lesbian hamster cards" I didn't know the gay community had a thing for gay hamster cards, I didn't see any in the shops in Brighton last week. Oh well you live and learn.
