Here in my neck of the woods, summer is in full swing. A sweltering 35 degrees! I have spent time on my spritual development. Along with weekends full of cider! How about you folks? Since it has been awhile since there has been a post. What are your summers full of this year?

Here in West Wales it is hot and humid. Prospects for the coming week seem to be warm and dry as well. :-)

Here in the American state of Ohio, if it's summer, it's humid, so if it's warm, even, you're sweating. However, our weather is strange here, ten minute storms and whatnot. Just to make the humidity even worse! It's supposed to cool down this weekend, though. I'm glad I don't have to work it. I'm more of a spring and autumn guy!

Here in Glasgow, Scotland we are in the midst of what for us is something of a heatwave. Temperatures are reaching 28-30 degrees which is much hotter than most of us are used to here. In England and Wales the schools are either just about to start summer holidays or have just started but here in Scotland most schools finish at the end of June so the kids are enjoying the unusually good summer - best we've had for years

That's great! Here, the school year in my area is from the end of August to the end of May or the first week of June. I had a nine day holiday a couple of weeks ago, I got to reconnect with old friends, as I moved back to my hometown, and enjoyed many a pint of cider.

Summer's just going to get better for Potia and me, as we are going to be away for the next five days at the coast.

I'm not much of a summer person...
Up until the full moon it has been uncomfortably hot, so have been enjoying the storms.
I'm looking forward to the nights lengthening and seeing darkness, the stars and moon at the end of the day.

I like the in betweens of spring and autumn. However, other than the week I posted the original post, we have actually had a nice, cool summer!

Here in Scotland it's not too hot but it is pretty nice at the moment but next week the kids go back to school here so it feels like summer is almost over already
