Apologies, been busy.
Deep runs the waters between you and I. Treacherous are they, as the currents ever present flow. Your mother am I Nurture you through winters chill, Place bread on your table. And I look upon the Eagles place, To the Eagle who came. Lost am I. But not to memory.
Who am I, and who am I speaking to?

lol, questioners are allowed to pose easy questions once in a while Or perhaps we should start again, with two threads, one 'cryptic' and one 'quick', like crosswords - one thread for riddles and questions on obscure snippets of lore, and the other for more simple fact based questions? What think you?

Sounds like a good idea!
This is turning out to be quite educational ;D

OK - will leave this thread running as the 'cryptic' one, and start a 'concise' version in a new thread btw, LR, it's your go

ooo err... I didn't read the rules, just jumped in there. Ok then :
Two were my blessings and three were my curses. the weakest cast aside became one of three plagues. What was my name?

Aranrhod?

good try, but not who I'm after. Although Aranrhod had two "blessings", Dylan and Lleu, and gave three "curses" to Lleu, I wouldn't exactly call Blodeuedd a plague a clue: Three is the source
