This may be slightly off-topic, but I feel would be of great interest to a few of you. I've been reading this blog for a while: landofspices.blogspot.com/While the content isn't Brythonic, per-se, it is rooted in Welsh, Celtic and Pagan history. Its also one of the only blogs I read regularly that has an air of authority about it (while still being a personal blog, like). Anyhow, have a read and see what you think.

I know whose blog that is, he's a very serious academic, a linguist. He's even attempted to reconstruct liturgy in the Brythonic ie pre-Welsh language. Spine chilling, he writes *very* well in English never mind Brythonic.
A solid guy, nothing but praise for him.

I've a high regard for the bloke who's Blog this is as well. I'm not naming names - as I'm not quite sure if Littleraven was being deliberately discreet ? But I'll add that the circumstances prior to his leaving TDN's forum was the beginning of my thinking that much of the pagan community there only wants to hear reassurance and support of any nonsense anyone dreams up, and never any sort of constructive, rational and well researched criticism. Yes Sephen and Lee, that's him. I don't like naming names just out of respect for peoples privacy.
The critique he posted was severly censored, and that was part of the reason for him leaving TDN. Although he still assists where wanted last I heard he will have nothing to do with TDN publically. He's speaking at the camp though, but afaik he wouldn't be known as the person who was on the public forum for a while.

I know who you are talking about. I read his articles on TDN - didn't realise they were heavily edited, even so they were the most marvellous breath of fresh air. I was pleased to see he was going to be at camp.

Iguana thank you SO MUCH for posting this link. I love the poetry of Dafydd ap Gwilym 'The Mass if the Grove' blew me away when I first read it and is in my top 10 all time favorites, up there with John Donne and Ted Hughes - and that's reading in translation. I'm printing the page out, I hope he won't mind, and will be begging for it to be read to me properly at camp - Brochfael, LR ??

If I was only ever allowed to read the poetry of one person for the rest of my life, it would be him. He truly is the continuation of the *actual* bardic tradition, and his poetry surpasses anything written by anyone else, ever, IMHO.

Thanks! One of these days I will write something about precisely why I left TDN. It was basically entirely my fault, although I was seriously provoked by a raving madwoman. Lee, I can get you that ZCP Nodens article if you wish, no trouble.

Hi Mark, Your website is a great and informative read. Many thanks - I'm learning a lot from it. Best wishes with the thesis writing. I can relate to bits on your blog about the writing up process - I finally managed to hand mine in a few years ago. Good luck with it.

Hi Megli
When you were still on TDN you posted a beautiful poem about Blodeuwedd. (did I spell that right?) Do you still have it, and could you post it somewhere here?
I forgot to keep hold of it at the time and now it is lost down a thread way back when.
It was beautiful and I would love to have another read!
