*grabs a glass of mead and makes herself comfy*
Hi all Firstly, can i just say how excited I am about the site!
My name is Laura (Akasa) and I live in Plymouth with my husband and my 2 cats. I'm interested in a druidic path and am currently reading The Celtic Shaman by John Matthews. I've tried to learn a bit of Welsh in the past, but thought Cornish was more appropriate for me, however I haven't had the time recently to get into it.
I've trained as a primary teacher and have done 2 terms with my own class, but am currently doing admin work and supply teaching.
I'm obsessed with genealogy at the moment, and this is taking up a lot of my time but when I'm not on the net paying out money for things like the census (!) I play the piano/saxophone, do african drumming and enjoy learning languages and incorporating paganism into my way of life.
I recently got married in St Lucia and am hoping to have a handfasting sometime in 2007. My husband is a complete 'muggle' but has no issues with my way of life (obviously, else I wouldn't have married him!)
I really look forward to getting to know you all, and for those of you who do already know me, getting to know you even better!

Hi Akasa,
And welcome to CF. BB is on a housemoving sabbatical at the moment so it falls to us regulars to welcome the new kids. You might know a few of us from TDN...
Well I expect you know your way arounbd a forum so please feel free to dive right in. I'd have a good explore of the other areas of the site too, BB has collected an enormous resource here and it could take you a while. if you find yourself in some shadowy corner and see an orangutan knuckling by with a book on Evoklution under one arm, just say 'ook'.
Blessings, Craig <o>.
