hahaha those Gwaun valley folk... have a reputation in school as being backwards and inbred. nice area though, just outside of Fishguard.

it's funny how ye olde English village would be seen as "quaint" and "traditional", but a similar one in Wales is "backwards" and "inbread". Depends which side of the fence you're sitting on

we were sitting on the headland above them a prime position to look down on them. mind you, that kind of rivalry is common around here; town v town or group or towns v . group of towns, north v south etc etc it seems common for Welsh people to have a constant and appropriate level of rivalry with at least someone at all times
