As ever, I come back t the question of 'why do I do this?' whilst not answering this directly I have come to think that I dont need to, certainly not in the way I have been for the past X years. I am going to give something a shot; fall back to what I think is my default position and drop the notion of personal gods, devotions, hymns and observances in the manner which I have bee doing for the the past while or so. Something Francis said on my blog got me thinking and I think that for me I have been going at this the wrong way; working on a relationship with the gods and living a kind of more integrated lifestyle. I am thinking that by living the more integrated lifestyle I will gain a developed relationship with the gods. We shall see. So anyway, I will be dropping in less often – this place and some of you people are too important to cut out of my life, so perhaps for now I should leave things as they are and see what comes. All the best and I am sure I will speak to you soon I am leaving the blog idle for now – though will be writing on another one I have set up at eatsshootsandjams.blogspot.com/ xxx Lee

Oh yes, good luck Lee!
I can see how you've moved towards this decision and it seems to me very 'wick', - alive, growing and moving towards something authentic and wholesome for you.
I liked your posts about sovereignty and you put into words what I had been approaching: that perhaps all I can do is take responsibility for the land that is in my domain. Personal sovereignty/personal responsibility. (Not that that means abdicating responsibility to help in other areas where I might be able to make a difference in sustainability and preservation).
I'll be interested to hear how it develops and will drop in at your new blog.
