Hello everyone, it's nice to be here! I just joined, so I thought I'd better introduce myself. My name is Liz, and I go by the forum name of MoonCrone.
I'm in South West Wales UK, in the beautiful county of Pembrokeshire, close to the castle where Henry 7th was born, and I love it here. Especially the beaches. And Narberth - Rhiannons' land.
My interests and hobbies include Astronomy, landscape & still life sketching, productive gardening, sailing, artistic needlecraft, wine tasting, playing my harp, and visiting sacred sites - to name just a few.
I am a novice to Druidry (3 years) and busy trying to research all things Celtic, but struggling, to be honest, so I hope spending time here will fetch me a little more up-to-speed with that!
I look forwards to learning my way around, and hopefully making new friends along the way.
May the fates be kind to us all.
MoonCrone - Liz

Hi Lorna, thank you for the reply. Indeed, it is, I feel blessed. The decision was taken way back in 1976 to re-locate here, in our retirement, but Hubby got made redundant from his job in London, so we sold up and arrived here 10 years early. Most people get made redundant and it's the end of their world. For us, it has been like the start. Happy days, for sure.

Hi Lee, thanks for the warm welcome...
ah, we swapped places, kind of, then, did we? Lol... well please give my kind regards to the "big smoke," it wasn't all bad. I was lucky, we were close to Epping Forest, near to Waltham Abbey on the Herts/Essex/North London (Edmonton & Enfield - junction 25 of the M25) boarders, minutes by train bus or car to the heart of the west end and theatre land, equally minutes from the rural areas and seaside towns etc, yeah, not a bad place to be really.
But I do feel better, in my older age, to experience life less hurried and anxious... nowadays I get my "buzz" from the Irish ferry docking at 1pm and 1am - our 2 "rush hours". And seeing the odd red kite or kestrel fly over. I think I've fitted in rather well to the Pembroke promise!!!
Well, should you ever make a return, give me the heads-up and perhaps we'll cross paths.
And thank you for the compliments on my playing. Glad you enjoyed it.
