Before my PC had an eppy and we had to reformat the hard disk (wipe its memory) I found an Isaac Bonewits site about some neo-pagan archetypes. Being very much a badger at heart (Brochfael means great or majestic Badger). I was initially slightly upset to read of "stinky badgers", particularly as an archetype for cynics. The idea is however starting to grow on me so if I become yet more cynical, you know who to blame!

Brochfael, you might need to add 'cynic' to your tag line ;D

Mr Bonewits seems to be really quite anti- stinky Badgers. At the bottom of the graphic in which he explains the different "types" to be found in the neo-pagan community he states "we don't need no stinkin' badgers" I find this attack on us unnecessary, uncalled for and somewhat hurtful. I haven't been so offended since Harry Hill sang "Blame it on the Badgers"

I think a little cynacism is healthy....especially when it comes to Mr. Bonewits. But maybe that's just me.

Well, if Isaac Bonewits ever comes along to say hello, I shall fluff up my feathers and transfix him with a beady eye For all know of the noble badger, his handsome stripes, clever nose and fierce disposition ;D

I've actually met Isaac. We both presented and led rituals for Finger Lakes Pagan Pride last year... and I have to say... He's rather a stinky badger himself!
Blessings, Morgaine
