Interesting. I've always liked DCD and her solo work too. Loved the Gladiator Soundtrack as well. She offers a real antidote to the anodyne R&B we get saturated with in our everyday lives.

Definitely - I love her voice. The sheer range and power of it is unbelievable DCD were responsible for introducing me to early music way back when... A really good partnership - I don't think either of the solo albums released were as successful.

I am not sure about watching a film about her, but I do adore her voice. Her and Wendy Rule are two exceptional vocalists that I can listen to for great lengths of time.

Ahh kindred spirits!!!
I confess to having the film and went to see DCD last time they were in London (2005) I also went to see her in London in April - a great concert
There is also a DVD of Towards the Within which is well worth the few coins it costs, also Baraka is worth buying it has some DCD but is a musical video journey and a real emotional experience.

What does Anodyne mean?

In this context, soporific and bland Must confess, I find all R&B, Hip Hop etc. to be completely so... give me something with a bit of passion ;D (pun intended, for those knowing the dictionary definition...)

I was at the concerts too. It was amazing. She was nearly supernatural.
