Bleak grey seas, Roaring tides. Hidden depths, Ancient eyes. Seabirds wheel, Mute seals dive. The water’s surface, Comes alive.
Black rock, Reaching out. Cloaked in green, Thrift at her brow. Land and sea, Meet as one. Rising, Croaking, Crows have come.

Visually delicious; I've always had a strange enjoyment of Llyr and Penarddun, and this poem was what I never knew I wanted from it! ;D

thanks very much. there was going to be an accompanying ritual to go with offering this to them. something i wanted to perform on the top of a cliff and at its base by the sea. im thinking i will wait till i go back home near christmas to do that aprt... wild and winter weather on the pembrokeshire coast... perfect.

that does sound nice! and i daresay it'd be quite suited to both they and to the poem.

ah, well the ritual wasnt too complex and was going to involve collecting some water from the sea whilst reciting the first part of the poem, then walkng up to the cliff top and sprinkling the water there. next gather some flowers from the cliff top and whilst saying the second part and casting the flowers into the sea at the end.
a simple exchange whilst offering the poem.

simple exchange, but full of potent meaning--the best kind!
