In the latest number of the APT magazine Many Gods Many Voices there is a fascinating article by Megli entitled 'Gods of Culture and Polytheistic Psychology' which contains a number of intriguing suggestions. The distinction made between gods of culture and gods of nature is suggestive and one I suspect will consider further. But the main thrust of the article is to discuss such psychological concepts as archetypes and complexes which, in the post-Jungian context given for them, Megli suggests can suggest some productive ways of looking on how we relate to the gods , or how they relate to us, but without seeing them solely as psychological phenomena. Well worth a read for anyone on this forum I'd say, and I'd be interested to know what others think of the ideas developed there. APT website: www.manygods.org.uk

APT website: www.manygods.org.ukI'm in the midst of marking atm so I havn't had the chance to read, but I'm looking forward to it. It also ties in with the references to Jung here that I've not yet had the chance to get my teeth into.

Hi Megli
You couldn't give me the address for your blog could you? I'd interested in reading your thoughts on this, but I seem to be too stupid to find your cyberhome without help!
