I'm looking round a vast, echoing chamber at the moment!
I am Blackbird, the owner of Caer Feddwyd. For a long while, I've noticed a dearth of pagan sites that concentrate on the Brythonic lore. And rather than hanging around waiting for someone else to start one, I decided to do it myself.
I am 30 years old and live in Britain, where I make a living from historical and stage swordplay and enjoy playing my harps, home brewing, reading, writing and running.

Greetings to one and all!
I am Morgaine, and to most I am known as Founding Elder Dreamer of Avalon Druid Order (ADO). I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains with my life and ritual partner Myrddin and we spend a fair bit of time traveling to the sacred sites in the Isles and on these shores. A special area of interest is how closely bound the pre-histories of our lands really are!
I was twenty-two years in professional classical theatre before shifting my focus to healing. Myrddin and I are both Reiki Masters, and have studied Celtic herbalism and spirituality with Brighid's Academy of Healing Arts. Our focus is decidedly on the Brythonic people and their predecessors.
Our form of Druidry remains primarily an oral tradition, so you will likely find our views of history diverge (sometimes considerably) from officially accepted versions. In our view, we won't ask anyone to lay aside "official history," if we're not asked to lay aside oral history. (Some modern Druids have a real problem with that, but hopefully that will not create problems for any here.)
We love poetry, music (I've played piano, flute, violin, and am learning harp and Myrddin plays guitar), story-telling -- all the usual Singer's arts, as well as gardening and working with herbs and the trees of the Wood.
We come here to share experiences of walking the path and to gather with others of like mind. We look forward to sharing wisdoms with you!
Bendithion Afallon, Morgaine (& Myrddin)
