Hello I've just joined, found my way here from another forum.
Really pleased to see a forum focussing on the Brythonic material rather than the Gaelic or 'pan Celtic'.
Never really sure what people want to know. I've been out as pagan since the mid eighties and have always worked with the Brythonic deities, and Fair folk, and the Matter of Britain.

I'm out as a Pagan too, people at work know as i wear my pentacle there. I took the plunge and told my family a few years back. They took it well, don't think they were too surprised ;D

My parents decided it was a 'phase' I was going through and I'd grow out of it. Instead they've grown used to it

Great to have you here, welcome to the group I agree - the reason I set the site up was to counter balance the myriad of Irish/Scottish 'Celtic' sites. You find that 'pan Celtic' also means Irish really, randomly applied to different places and times a la Anne Ross The Matter of Britain has been my fascination since I was a child and it will be great to have some discussions on that.

The Matter of Britain has been my fascination since I was a child and it will be great to have some discussions on that. I might have to hit the books again, I've absorbed so much from so many sources, including a lot of the fiction and films that I have to double check my memory between what we know, what myths we have and whats a modern retelling. Though the latest Arthur film with Clive Owen didn't need any book checking for me to be going "No!!!!"

I didn't see it in the end, which I think was a good thing. Better to remember wonderful films like 'Excalibur' ;D
