smells of horseshit to me. however, it may be that she has taken the mabinogion and used it to weave her own 'path' through it and use it. i cant really criticise that - it appears to have worked for her so all credit to her. now, if she is trying to sell that as some ancient system then that is appalling, she should be honest. as to that other website- its hideous and has little content of apparent interest that suggests mysteries. midnight bitching over

I'm going to stick my neck out and say I thoroughly enjoyed the book :-) I give it about as much credence re exploring an ancient British Mystery Tradition as I give Castaneda re revealing the mysteries of the Yaqui shaman (sweet fa) but the book has merit as a metaphor and possibly as a description of personal trance-formation, IMO :-)

I read it over the weekend, but had a few issues with it. Thought I was just being hypercritical, but ... Thanks for the input. Much appreciated. ;D

The House of Llew? Morgan? Mystery Tradition? Why is this site presented like some sort of point and click low budget game?
Horeshite is an appropriate word.

The website is exceedingly pretentious!
I've not read this book, but I have read her Amazons one. It was fairly entertaining if you read it as a personal journey, but rubbish for any proper information.

kac'h marc'h? *grins*
even the title of 'becoming an enchanter' puts me off: that kind of titles attracts imho the 'wrong' kind of people: people attracted by the idea of having 'magyckal' powers to show to their friends, not really interested in any philosophy or mysticism at all....

even the title of 'becoming an enchanter' Its more to do with taking on the role of a character in the Mabinogion rather than magic, which they don't seem to use.
