Hello, Ian here, I've been around for a while on various boards. I've been aware of being pagan if that is the name to apply to it, for around 8 years now. Its taken me to some strange places, some good some not so good. Needless to say this has caused some serious thinking , so I have been quiet for a long time. Yeh Yeh Craig, I hear you....if that's his quiet what's his noisy like.? Well I feel a change coming so I shall contribute where I can. I am looking forward to some good discussions, and to learn from some people who are well respected. Walk Lightly Ian

You do both realise that this old pict is quite, quite mad don't you? He's really not safe to have in your house, he drinks your whisky, scandalises your wife, goes commando under his plaid, corrupts the behavioural conditioning of your children and frightens your pets. Despite that he's my brother and I wouldn't have him any other way. Welcome Ian, now put that down before you break it! Blessings, Craig <O>.

Och do I hae tae pit it doon, its nice and shiney and things :-). HE has a nerve, me mad? nivir. Thanks brother, the feelings are mutual. Craig was the fellow you have to blame for me being here, he told me about Clas Brython and that led me here. For quite some time I've had the feeling that what was happening in "Pagan" circles wasn't for me, there seemed to be far too much of the supposed Traditional thing going on. Where you can see there are no traditions. Now the concept of Clas Brython, is much more inline with my own feelings, We need to look at our spirituality from a less roman, stance, and make it applicable to today's society. To my mind looking back to the spirits of the past, and making the honouring of them applicable to today are not in conflict. Just the opposite, if we can make contact, with the spirits of this land, then we can only improve our physical and mental health. Any way I ramble on :-) be aware I do have this tendancy Walk lightly

*g* I always trust a whisky drinker ;D
yes, this is one of our main concerns. This is about us, here and now. Getting the balance right between understanding what our ancestors did and without trying to live in the past, what that means for ourselves and our communities.
