Hello to all,
Thank you for allowing me to join. I am still seeking and will probably ask more questions than anything.
I didn't realize it until recently but I have Welsh blood on both sides of my family tree, so I am praticularly interested in the way the Welsh related to the Gods and Goddesses and how they lived their lives. I was drawn to this path by the Goddess Arianrhod and, to date, is the only deity that I've had much contact with.
It's not very easy sorting through the information that is out there. What books to read? How to worship? Etc. I am very much looking forward to reading through the topics here and seeing what I can find. I will appreciate any help in that area.
I look forward to getting to know some of you and expanding my knowledge at the same time.
Zoe Moonchild

Hi Zoe and welcome. You might like to take a look through some of the posts and articles on the Brython site at: www.dunbrython.org.uk/There is a short list of recommended books there and information on the ways some of us practice our beliefs. You'll find even more information in the various older threads. I hope you enjoy it here.

Hi Zoe
Welcome to Caer Feddwyd. I think I would suggest having a look at "The Apple Branch - A Path to Celtic Ritual" by Alexei Kondratiev.
It contains a potted 'celtic cultural' and 'Welsh' history, and puts many things in both a historical and contemporary perspective. Most importantly it remains very grounded, and doesn't stray too far in to the more immediately attractive realms of fantasy.
If there's anything specific you're initially interested in just ask - we can probably point you in the direction of relevant old threads or offer what answers we have.

Thank you for the welcomes. I do have 'The Apple Branch' on my list of books to get next. I glanced through the library section too. But I will also take a look at the articles, etc.
