hello all i don´t really know what to say... i've been researching (websearching) about celtic cuture for quite some time now because i feel a kind of link that i can't explain. i was brought up in catholic faith but ever since i was a child it ... annoyed me! I had given up on any faith whatsoever but recently i have been feeling a kind of longing as if i'm missing something. i'm starting to believe that spirituality must be a human necessity. i need to learn a new way i guess and i've been looking for something to guide me. there is no one around me with pagan beliefs and far away from any comunity. is this the right place?

Welcome Whereabouts in the world do you live? Spirituality being necessary... perhaps... though that needn't always be expressed through religion. I know some who get their fix from watching a sunrise, hearing music and so forth. Is this the right place? Depends what you are looking for I hope you enjoy yourself here regardless. Feel free to jump into any of the topics, or start your own threads.

Hi Leonor You don't really need to have other pagans around you to explore your spirituality - the whole "group in a grove" thing is brilliant, but in reality not so easy or practical. Just take it one step at a time, never go down any road you don't feel entirely comfortable about, and if you're unsure just ask - someone will know. Portugal is a beautiful country, and you're in good company: www.uwm.edu/Dept/celtic/ekeltoi/volumes/vol6/6_11/gamito_6_11.html
