Did anyone watch Tony Robinson's Gods and Monsters 'Gods' episode on More 4 Saturday night? I found the information interesting, but I also found the main focus on human sacrifice in Celtic religion to be rather biased which put me off it a lot. It made it appear that human sacrifices were the main aspect to their religious practices, is that accurate or a misrepresentation? The programme also seemed to be very 'paganism bad, Christianity good'...Thoughts on this for those who watched?

Unfortunately it is programming aimed at the non-specialist and inevitably human sacrifice is the hook to get people interested. I'd dispute the frequency it seems to suggest human sacrifice was used.
