Thanks for sharing these links. I particularly like the owls and rabbits and love the idea of storytelling through textiles. Congratulations on your exhbition at Lytham It's a lovely town.

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments Lorna, it was during my MA a few years ago that I realised my art practice had to be narrative I am working on a series of stories for children called 'Tales From The Welsh Wood' based on my childhood experiences The stories tackle quite difficult subjects such as emotional abuse and I felt the best way to communicate these concepts was to use textiles and present the stories as fairytales The hares and owls are work I have since developed based on the Mabinogion and my recent work is an exploration of my spiritual path and nature which provides endless subject matter!

I don't know much about textiles and storytelling, the best known example I know of being the Bayeux Tapestry, but think it's a really interesting idea, particularly for tackling by 'showing rather telling' tough issues such as emotional abuse. I wish you every success with it and look forward to seeing more of your work.
