Hello, everyone and thank you for adding me! I've been searching for a Brythonic community, it feels like, forever! I'm so glad this place exists.
Ok, introduction. My name is Diana, and I've been a practicing pagan for almost 20 years now. I started off Wiccan, as most people have, but it quickly lost the appeal and I floated around between atheism and eclecticism until about 2006 when I discovered Celtic Reconstructionism.
But it's such a small community and there is so little out there, I've been dying for a community to sort of help me figure things out. I have a background in anthropology and British Archaeology (specifically Anglo-Saxon/Viking Age Britain and Ireland, and archaeological science, namely bog bodies). I know my stuff and I know how to research, but I've been struggling to combine the academic facts with a workable modern religious life.
I found you guys because I recently narrowed down my path to Brythonic Polytheism, and you guys were the second result on Googl. Imagine my joy to see that this board is active!
Anyway, that's enough rambling. I'm excited to be here and I can't wait to learn from you, and also to share what I have learned.

Hello October and welcome Hopefully you'll be happy to know we have a website too: www.dunbrython.org/ and are looking for new input. Coincidentally, I just finished reading 'The Life and Death of a Druid Prince' which you no doubt know was written by Ann Ross and Don Robins about Lindow Man. Dated now but very interesting. I'm also very interested in votive offerings in the Fylde in Lancashire including weaponry and the burial of a woman's head with auburn hair, jet beads and one amber, all preserved, which is certainly ritual. These offerings seem to have been made in the Bronze Age when weather conditions were becoming wetter and lakes were rising and mosses forming, to placate the gods. I seem to be called to this because we're experiencing rising waters again now. I don't know much about Anglo-Saxon and Viking bog burials so would love to hear more. Where are you based?

Shwmae Diana and welcome. I hope you can make yourself at home here. Combining academic facts with a workable religious life is not always easy but is an aim you an certainly pursue here. Looking forward to hearing more from you.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! I have to admit that I'm a little overwhelmed, so I think I'll just jump in :-p
