I thought it would be good if I collated our discussions on this board and turned them into Encyclopaedia entries. There's some very useful stuff appearing here already, and it seems a shame for it not to be on the site in a more accessible form.
Does anyone have any objection to that? (The entry would not be naming names, I'd simply reference it back to the forum discussions, which can be read by 'guests' to the board, along with other references as usual.)

I think that's a great idea. I have no problem with it...

Good idea. After all, the result of our discussions is that much of the available information is being brought together anyway.
What happened to the idea of the encyclopaedia entries being discussed here?

Well, nothing happened to the idea... we just haven't done it yet Perhaps you'd like to propose an entry and we can take it from there? I was thinking that we should have entries on Myrddin - that will be a lengthy one - on Brythonic/Old Welsh/ etc as languages (time frame, manuscripts that use it etc), definitely need one on Iolo Morgannwg... endless list really, so you can take your pick ;D
