I want to compile a pronunciation guide for inclusion in the articles section. The idea is that this will include names and places from Brythonic myth.
I know that many people struggle when coming to the tales for the first time, and think this would be an invaluable helping hand.
If anyone has any contributions, they would be most welcome!

Thats an Gwych(brlliant),excellent) idea ! I really have problems with alot of the words. I was just about to post a question about the pronunciation of a few words,so I will post them here. Onnen: Bran: (m. raven)brain is this correct? Cigfran: (f.raven) Coedwig: (m. wood,forest,jungle)

Well, to be fair, pronunciation does differ around the various regions.
In line with what I have learned:
Bran = Braaahn
Cigfran = Kigvraaahn
Coedwig = Coedooig
ymmv ;D
However, for the pronunciation guide, I'll be looking specifically names and place names, rather than general vocab, which is easy enough to find on the web.

I've been told by several people that A should always be pronounced short so that Bran would rhyme with van.
I'm pretty sure I got this from Kris Hughes from Ynys Mon as well as local south Walians

I've always pronounced it Braaan - ever since reading 'The Grey Wolf' as a child. Susan Cooper gives that pronunciation in the little Cymraeg lesson contained within the story
