interesting: www.arberthstudios.com/'Rhiannon' weaves classic Celtic legends of revenge into a modern-day setting in a run-down Welsh country house and grounds. The game is aimed squarely at the first-person point-and-click market. Although it is violence-free, it is decidedly not for young children. Its intricate plot deals with numerous grown-up themes from the ancient to the contemporary. It blends magic with technology, fact with myth, horror with compassion and classicism with metaphysics. It is a feast for lovers of ghost stories, mystery, legend and puzzles.
Beginning with the present-day ghostly disturbances driving teenager Rhiannon insane, the player journeys through a hippie commune, an Edwardian tragedy and pre-Christian myths. Magic and science are interwoven, with the 'Four Elements', the physics of combustion, astrology, Kirlian photography, Email, an ancient Celtic script and lots more all playing a part. Beats tetris, I suppose

That might prove interesting to folk who have a passing interest, although not being a games person myself, I would probably get my son to look at it and judge it.
The graphics aren't bad, looking at the screenshots.
Cheers, Midori

Ooooh, I've not played that... when I split up with the exOH, he kindly gave me the old PS2, and I'm waiting for the PS3 prices to drop before I upgrade. I played the second game in the series and thought it was absolutely amazing - the sense of disorientation and chaos and very realistic weapons

Aye, that's why I've never gone near it! Got far too much to do in real life to lose it to gaming... though a few years back, I managed to lose 100 hours in a month playing Oblivion ;D

Try ghost recon on the xbox you fire a couple of shots and it lets the enemy know were you are then they start to surround you.
