well it seems a given now that we will be meeting up for a flag fen MKII in the coming month or two. location to be decided and dates to be confirmed too.
Francis has mentioned a discussion on what we believe, this i think is a damn fine idea: FF was when we set out what makes up different and what seems to be setting us apart, BG'09 i think should be about Brython: what unites us, what od we collectively and individuially believe. perhaps also where we want to be going from here on in?
if we were to have it mid to late april we could tie it in with our beltane observances?

While I would love to be able to say I could get to something like this I know that realistically I won't be able to BUT I would like to input to discussions somehow. I hope that like FF there will be options for having points of view fed into the discussions from those of us that can't be there for whatever reason.

Sadly I doubt that I can make a gathering so soon. Also I think I've held the silver branch long enough already re my belief structure, but feel very excited about hearing what others believe, for me its the way forward and the foundation stone of any new direction.
So at the moment I see my contribution as being someone who fully supports/respects the Brython and see's the AC as an organisation of kindred spirit that shares many of the same values and also more than willing to explore how the AC may be able to further support the Brython in the future. The AC I feel such will rebirth sometime in the near future.
This may also include respecting advice from the Bython on how to make the MF a more mature/evolved organisation re ritual practice etc.
I'm also sure Wild Ways would support a Brython gathering, they have everything you would need to facilitate such an event in comfort. Just an idea to consider and no need to camp at this time of year.

I'm very unlikely to be able to make anything in April/May - I've only got that weekend that I suggested previously free (end of March), otherwise, I've no availability for weekends until the start of September!
If it's at FF again, I might be able to join you for part of the day as it's not too far from me, but I can't promise.

As much as I would like to attend, I don't think I will be available either. However, I await to see what time and place is settled on before giving a definitive answer.

Hey, I know I'm not part of Brython, how ever I would be very interested in assist to a gathering to listen to your thoughts face to face, if you don't mind...since I found this group very interesting and respectable. Let me know.

I could bring a biggish round tent - supposedly sami style, but I don't think any sami past or present would recognise it as such - you can't beat marketing!
We could get 15 in comfortably, more if we were sat in a close circle.
Obviously it would be better if we could meet up at Wild Ways - I just offer it in case that doesn't work out.

Has anyone mentioned this to Craig? It would be good to him with us.

I'm inclined to say that I think some where in the west / south midlands would probably be a good idea as FF was fairly easterly. If I recall, the website relating to Wild Ways was not very forthcoming in it's location, which will be a problem if not dealt with beforehand. So, are we happy with Wild Ways, providing we get location details?

I would try to get to this if I could.
As regards dates, it's the APT AGM in Birmingham on 25 April (together with a half-day mini conference on Arthurian Legends) which I have to be at, even if only to wind up the organisation, which looks distinctly possible.

I have had reply from the Wildways place, but they want to know who we are to make sure we are 'right for them'. I'll put something together and get back to you ASAP.

If we do organise a get together, can we not do it on the mayday bank holiday weekend as there other events then which many of us may want to attend. I for one am planning to attend the Grey Mare camp then.
